Quechee Lakes has its own downhill ski area with ten trails, snowmaking, 2700' Quad chair lift, handle tow, T-bar, base lodge and ski shop. Equipment rentals are available. It is an ideal ski area for novices, beginners and children. The expert skier will likely want to drive to Killington, Mt. Ascutney or Suicide Six, all within 30 minutes of Quechee Lakes.
For the cross-country skier and snowshoers, there are 35 km of marked and
groomed trails on both level and hilly terrain. Most condominium homes have direct access to a cross country ski trail.
